The other day I went into Sammies Friends to buy a t-shirt, and I saw this beautiful dog behind the counter. I was quick to photograph him. I decided to create a oil painting, 16x20 on canvas. The first picture I drew with a brush, then you can see the progression shots. My goal was to push the color and try and keep this painting fresh. I'm primarily a pastel and acrylic artist but lately I've been playing with oil. I'm also offering small somewhat private lessons for beginner/intermediate students, groups of 3. Contact me if interested.
